Junior Citizen

Junior Citizen

A scenario involving a robbery

Safety on the tube

Safety on the buses

Junior Citizen......

A 'scenario' involving' a bag containing drugs from an unknown person

Road safety and improtance of wearing seat belts... even for short distances and when we are sitting in the back.

Science in Year 6

Investigating what shapes fall quicker through water in the cylinder. We learnt that 'streamlined' shapes are better. ( submarines !!!)

We had the chance to improve our boats.

We have been investigating forces acting in water. We had to design a boat to hold the most marbles. We found out that the larger the surface area of the bottom of the boat, the more marbles in could hold.

Science Investigations

Did you know that we measure forces in Newtons?

Monday, 17 October 2011

We enjoyed working in small groups and sharing ideas.

Our Creation Star

Here are some more points of our stars. Can you guess which day of creation each one represents?

We could choose different materials for our points.

Labels:

Creation Star

We worked in groups and created a point of the star to represent each day of creation

We created our class star by measuring out equilateral triangles. We drew a circle by using a pencil attached to a piece of string ......this way we could measure out a regular hexagon.

Some of us decided to read different versions of the same story.

Some of us decided to paint, others used clay.

RE in Year 6

We learned about the Creation Story through 'Godly Play'. We could all choose an activity to show our own understanding and meaning of the story.

So here we are in Year 6 - Out last year at All Saints !!
